About Me

Jan Kallberg Cyber Defense

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy (West Point) and a Research Scientist at the Army Cyber Institute at West Point.

Also, I am a non-resident researcher fellow at Cyber Security Research and Educational Institute, the University of Texas at Dallas and part-time faculty at George Washington University. My personal website is www.cyberdefense.com. I registered it 20 years ago.

My research is focused on the intersection between cyber policy and the broader impact on our open society in pursuit of a cyber-resilient society. I also seek to explore cyber as a policy option in national security in both defensive and offensive postures.

Evaluation of claims and argument, technical evaluation, document review, logic reasoning.
